Alora Final Version12:09 by Col.J.P.

This map was designed using finca (large farm or ranch, in Spanish America) structures related to some property pictures, in a town in Spain, named Alora:





New features in the final version includes:

- Now supports ctf, inf, dm, tdm, elim, ktmwtb, tktmwtb!
- Too many changes to list but there were a few textures changed.
- Doors thinner, all clip redone. Some rooms totally redone.
- Lighting redone.Stairs turned into ramp...

The author was more focused on a map built for speed and game tourmanments so few assorted brushes were cut to make the whole map play faster.

Heaven Arena for Elite Force12:08 by Col.J.P.

This map was designed by [Vampire]Heaven-=?=-divine© (Mapper) and THEDUDE (Designer)with Capture The Flag in mind. It does´nt have bot support but it has some secrets to be found!
The Background Music is the theme of the Matrix, the authors thought it went well in the scene of the map!
The only things wrong with the map is that you can fall off the side of the arena and some textures overlap causing a flicker but you should'nt notice it.

A well made map for Jedi Outcast, with two buildings and a very thin, long bridge attaching their respective roofs. Its a combination between JK2 and the Matrix, the distant distant past and recent times. Both rooftops are great for a regular duel, and they even have guns on them for those who want to snipe.
It was developed by arief_9 with new textures, new skybox and new bot routes!

{PO} Hangar (3.0) for Jedi Outcast11:48 by Col.J.P.

An amazing map by [PO]Xander[JM], its a basic shoot-em-up, dueling, everything map. For the duelers, theres a big shuttle bay. For the gunners.. Theres a large arsenal through the big door.
Personally I think this map is amazing, but a little bit unfinished. You spawn a little bit up in the air, and the buttons to open the doors are hidden. Otherwise this map is perfect. I love the breakable computer screens! High FPS -- mine didnt go lower than my max.

Jedi Knight: The New Republic SP Mod3:09 by Col.J.P.

This is a singleplayer mod that changes the game to a new storyline for true Jedi Knight fans! Takes place 3 years after Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 and 2 years before Jedi Knight: Mysteries of The Sith. Arkon, Jerec's brother is seeking revenge against Kyle Katarn for killing his brother.





The primary story elements are the same as Jedi Outcast. Remnant on Kejim, Cortosis crystals, supposed death of Jan, return to the Jedi Academy, and so on. The key change is the principal characters. Desann is now Arkon, Jerec's brother; Jedi Trainer is now Mara Jade; Luke is now Jacen Solo; Lando is Dash Rendar; and so forth...

A new version of the Soldier of Fortune II realism mod, JEEL SpecOps, released.
It includes several new features:

- AK47 is scoped weapon now!
- AK74 bayonet stab is faster and single.
- MP5,MP5SD,AK47,M4SD,M4 3d model have a scope now , and visible in external view.
- M203 only with M4 combo.
- Weapons firing enhancement, real weapons have a very hight RPM fire, increase RPM of MP5 , MP5SD, M4, AK47, SIGG, for this reason ,some weapons sounds are changed.
- Correction of external view for OICW and OICW-GL.
- AK47 and M4 , changed sounds , AK74 standard sound from SOF2.
- Added crosshair in third person view to help you to shoot (only when behind player...).
- Grenade characteristics modified for different models , power blast and radius, timer 5s or 3s.

Tested in CTF, DM, TDM, ELIM and INF!

-AJC- Academy is the best kind of FFA map to have - a fun one! This map seems very complete as an FFA map, whether you have guns on or not. There's plenty of room for an all-out Free For All and at the same time, quite a few areas for dueling. For those who just like to explore, there's a lot to see on this map. There are even some elements for a good RPG.
Developed by Count_Vispusous for the Ancient Jedi Council it includes new textures but no bot support!

Like most already know, -DARK- is still alive, but on higher grounds. Still it doens't means that they are DEAD in games. They have splitted -DARK- into 2 teams sponsored by -DARK- and actually still is -DARK-.
First team, back returned in Soldier of Fortune, ÷CD÷ also known as 'Carpé Diem'. And still we are a kickass clan who still want's a game with other SOF clans.
Second team, started with Soldier of Fortune II, wherefrom are created 2 skins and already the map Nycdm4, merged with the Old School clan called [BrZ], called and still is -=BZDP=-, also known as BrouZe -DARK- Predatorzzzz. As they are silently building up with everything and play the game as same go's for the mods PhoeniX & Goldrush.

Mace_Stances Mod2:08 by Col.J.P.

This is version 1.0 of Mace_Stances. It includes:

- new idle stances for all saber strengths.
- new rolls: left,right and back roll animations.
- a few changes here and there.

"I tested the Mod, and found the stances for the most part to be very cool. The red stance is unfortunately that awkward over-the-head saber stance common to some of the other mods, but the rest of the changes were excellent. The back roll is more of a back flip, and the side-roll is a bit more of a cartwheel.

While standing idle, the model moves as if he is breathing, which I found to be a VERY refreshing change.

I found none of the modifications to affect my game negatively at all, and since this is strictly a client-side mod, no one else will be able to see the adjustments in your behavior without installing it as well."

Accadacca´s Grid updated 2:03 by Col.J.P.

This is the re-release of Accadacca´s Grid which now has CTF and Elim on it making this a much better map to play. Also with some other tweaked improvements:

- Added two gametypes: CTF & Elimination
- Ladders can now be climbed easier
- Made the 2 panes of glass up the top of the big ramp bullet proof
- The glass walkway is now metal mesh
- Fixed red light in lift that didn't pulse, and made both red lights brighter
- An extra SMOGH grenade in DM and TDM
- Also got the level shot to work now

Water Temple for Jedi Outcast4:23 by Col.J.P.

A new Duel and FFA map for JK II. This is the boss room in the water temple (morpha) in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Just a fancy box with water. But the water doesn't like you very much (cause it IS morpha, the amobea), so it spits you out at the wall spikes if you go for a swim...Interesting concept, is´nt it?





Original idea and develoment by Stamper: "After recovering from my JK crash, I decided to map Zelda levels. This room is just a small taste."

Soldier of Fortune II Mac 1.03 Gold Patch released4:02 by Col.J.P.

Version 1.03 includes all changes from version 1.02 (see below) plus the following additional changes:

Maps
- Added rebuilt mp_col2 to fix known map hole.
- Added new Kamchatka map mp_kam5
- Added new Jordan map mp_jor1
- Added new Shop map mp_shop2
Other
- Added new shell art to update to GOLD Edition
- Fixed disappearing weapon issue on certain maps

New Actions:
There are new features in which the Player must set up new actions. These new actions include USE and DROP ITEM. These actions can be bound to keys in the CONTROLS SETUP - MISC menu in Multiplayer.

The USE function is used to place or diffuse a detpack.

The DROP ITEM is used to drop the detpack, briefcase or flag (depending on the type of game you are playing) if you do not want to be carrying it.

Other Issues with Key Pressing:
Pressing keys while a level is loading in ANY operating system may cause undesirable behavior in the game, freezes, or crashes. We do not recommend using the keyboard until the level has loaded completely and you are out of the loading screen.

Unofficial Patch for Hexen II v.1.145:28 by Col.J.P.

This is an unofficial patch for Hexen II; it will update v1.11/1.13 retail game to version 1.14. It is based on the source code released by Raven Software and addresses a number of bugs in the final game.
For proper functionality, you have to have the v1.11 retail patch installed before installing this update.
OpenGL version has been largely reworked for better visual quality and more compatibility with different hardware.
If you have Portal of Praevus installed, download and install unofficial v1.14 Mission Pack patch instead.

To install, unpack this archive into your Hexen II folder. If you use a 3Dfx card, it is recommended that you download and install the latest MiniGL or WickedGL drivers for better image quality and performance of the OpenGL version!

Features:
* Fixed a nasty stack corruption problem that would result in a crash upon
loading progs (i.e. on map start) once in a while.
* Fixed demos freezing upon changing maps.
* (OpenGL) "fov" console variable now works in OpenGL mode.
* (OpenGL) Fixed the problem where the game would eventually crash with.
"mod_numknown == MAX_MOD_KNOWN" error in OpenGL mode after playing for a while.
* (OpenGL) Fixed Z-fighting on alias model shadows in OpenGL mode.
* Fixed artifact numbers not displaying properly in the status bar if over 9.
* (OpenGL) Aspect ratio is now correctly maintained in non-4/3 full screen video modes.
* (OpenGL) gl_texturemode command now affects all textures, including 2D overlays, lightmaps (upon map restart), models and sprites.

This map is from the game Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64. This is one of Blizzard´s best ever maps. There are two choppers in a large room, one is on the crane and the other is on the floor. You know those boats in a glass bottle? its like them, I wonder how they got in there and how you get them out!





"Stay still!" MaDCaTz shouted, but Blizz would´nt listen, he was petrified by the sight of the toilets...

Algolagnie for SoF II2:49 by Col.J.P.

Another wicked map by Blizzard Senior for the LOL Clan. It looks great and unless you hate wood as there is a lot of it. This map has the feeling of and old mansion house with a very elegant staircase.
There are lots of hidden places on this map, in fact there are tunnels and ladders and you can watch people with out them knowing you are there! It´s called camping!

={ORb}= Office Complex "Midnight" for Jedi Outcast2:43 by Col.J.P.

" ={ORb}= Office Complex "Midnight" is an interesting concept. And I like the concept. The landing pad makes a great place for duels and there's a swimming pool, complete with diving board just on the side of the office building. There were a few things that I just didn't get. One or two rooms that I just couldn't figure out what their use was.

Scattered throughout both office buildings are several offices. And serving as a room divider in one office is a big box of water - which I think we're supposed to stretch our imagination and believe it is an aquarium. The elevator in one of the buildings works fine, as long as you're going up. But if you want to go down, you're gonna have to jump and just be thankful for the abundance of health all around.
In some of the offices are these enormous coatracks that could almost serve as gallows. LOL And speaking of big, the file cabinets are so large, I don't think it's just files they're storing - question is - what?"

This is a large map and very well designed for SoF II. It includes two open areas and a mall with two levels, the rock feature at the front and the natural area at the back are very nice features and it would be interested to see a large map with these and a water fall in his next map. The mapper, Cuda, normally maps for Half-Life but now he has rightly decided to map for a better game!

Occupation (Version2)2:32 by Col.J.P.

Following on from Prison_Escape, Kyle is sent to infiltrate Galtech's HQ to discover more about their link with the Remnant. Kyle's investigation will lead him to a distant planet on the Outer Rim with an archaic culture and powerful overlords. This map features numerous cutscenes, over 10MB of voice acting, altered NPC characteristics, a custom skin for Kyle, custom textures, 4 difficulty settings, and various non-essential things to discover, including the identity of the traitor among the townspeople.

This is version 2 of Occupation. The original release had serious flaws including Kyle being invisible! Please overwrite the original occupation with this version, which features a fully visable Kyle and full texturing.

Caves3:31 by Col.J.P.

At first, Caves seems like a very confusing CTF map.. one hallway looks like the other.. one room almost like another.. but after walking around a couple of time you´ll get used to it! There are basically 2 levels to the map, on the top level are four big rooms (or caves) each has a colour: red, blue, green and yellow. Each of these caves have two entrances/exits. One entrance leads to the centre of the map, where you can find a few pickups. The other leads toward the outside of the map and joins a series of hallways that follow the map all around.
Each room also has one more hallway that descends into a lower room which is filled with a number of pickups.
The map isn't too bad, some of the features were kinda cool! One specifically was the fact that you get to know a vague-ish location on the other team! For example, if the red team is going down the hallway of the Green cave, you get a message saying something like "Red team is in or near the green tunnel". It seemss to be a cool idea.. it definitely compensates for the large map.
Along the long hallways, if you shoot at the ceiling lights a door is closed. This again helps to cut long distances short by preventing enemies from shooting behind you as you run along a hallway.

"X-Men Legends is a console-based RPG scheduled to arrive in late 2003 for PS2, GameCube and Xbox, and incorporates 19 of the most popular Marvel mutants from various time periods, dating back nearly 40 years ago. While the game tells the coming-of-age story of little-known character Magma (a.k.a., Alison Crestmere, who first appeared in New Mutants), players can pick four characters to engage in simultaneous combat, including Iceman, Gambit, Forge, Beast, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Angel and seven more.

In development with Raven Software, the critically acclaimed development team behind PC favorites Soldier of Fortune, Hexen and Heretic, X-Men Legends is the developer's first console game, and its first RPG.

According to Raven's top honchos Brian Pelletier and Patrick Lipo, the one- to two-player game, which is still in development, focuses on team-based action and strategy. The uncanny X-Men's wild range of characters, any of whom can be switched to on the fly, helps to create an RPG that casually resembles Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance but that enables players to use a team-style combo system to unleash extra powerful abilities. Trade Federation Control Ship FFA map trailer3:00 by Col.J.P.

Nothing like a great trailer to get you worked up over upcoming maps! This trailer by Breath combines scenes from the map in progress with dramatic music from Episodes 1 and 2.
Breath claims that 30% of the 6000 brushes in this new FFA map are complete, and that we'll see this map in Spring/Summer 2003.
The presentation is dramatic, and the transitions are nice!

Episode 2 Saber 1.22:54 by Col.J.P.

Coleus Torant brings us his update to Episode 2 Sabers 1.0. The changes to the sabers are not significant, so if you were looking for just a touch of added realism, this is the saber mod to get.
The blade seems to be a tad thinner than the standard ones, with a slightly sharper point. Colors are a bit darker and more vibrant; for example, the orange blade looks more like real orange. The gradient is unfortunately ever-so-slightly squarish, but this is not noticeable for most of the colors.

There are no sound updates, so expect to hear the standard JK II sounds if you use this mod.

"For a few years in the early and mid 1930's there were several outlaws, and outlaw clans, running wild in the American Midwest. Memories of the Wild West were vivid enough to frequently refer to them as "desperadoes". Some of these Depression-day criminals became infamous nationwide through both media and law enforcement attention to their crimes. It was the era of the "Public Enemies" they robbed banks with machine guns, kidnapped rich people for ransom , engaged in furious shootouts with lawmen, and when apprehended, often made spectacular jail breaks."

This Clan was the brainchild of Silas & Sniper308, they came up with the idea for the "Elmo'z Got A Gun" clan. Silas and Sniper expected that initiates would be required to kill or be demonstrably willing to murder to join the organization and that death was the only way to leave. Crime and protection was the sole reason for the clan, they believed.

CE Pyramids for SoF II8:42 by Col.J.P.

This is a pretty big map, made up from two pyramids with an ancient egyptian theme.
Made mainly for CTF, but does also support DM,TDM,& ELIM, very nice map a must for your collection Good job! This is what the author, [CE]Darkone, says about the map:
"I have incorporated a few custom textures & scripts to make a few cool effects including a rotating pyramid with a circular brush spinning faster around it, it gives a really nice effect. I have used a few different textures that I have found on the Internet."

If SpiderMan had a lightsaber, this is exactly what he would look like in the Star Wars universe! FoJ_JM_Miyamoto made an older version of SpiderMan and this is his version of the newer SpiderMan.

ReverendTed's XS Sound Compilation (1.8)8:28 by Col.J.P.

A compilation of the best firing sounds for a number of the weapons in SoF II. Many have been edited, remixed, or altered from their original states (the authors of which have been asked for permission and credited when available).
New sounds for the M1911A1, Socom, Silver Talon, M590, Micro-Uzi. M3A1, AK, M4, Sig551, USAS-12, MSG-90, and M60.

New features:
-Sounds for the grenade bounce
-M4 grenade load and launch
-Volume reduced on many sounds to reduce strain on headphoned players.
-Dehiss utility used to remove white noise.
New in version 1.8:
-"Default" grenade bounce sounds (anything but snow and wood) have been beefed up to make them more audible during firefights.
-New -Sniper sound. Considerably more authentic for a 7.62mm rifle.
-Trailing silence trimmed from several sounds for slight size optimization.

Waste Disposal Unit 5A is a small death match for 2-8 people set in a trap-infested arena. Both FFA and Team FFA modes are supported. Bot support has been added, but is somewhat unpredictable due to the complex nature of the map. Force powers are also not recommended due to the map's complexity.

This updates the older version, it changes the background music, to the menus and the Prague map level. This is what the author said:
"I made one simple music addon to the menu music for SoF2 but this one is a little longer with even better elements out of the Assault on Precinct 13-soundtrack.
The standard SoF II music that is played when you start the game will change to this one, and also the Prague-levels music will play this music file instead."

"You are to go to a small, but strategically placed base in the Devronn System. The New Republic just started an assault on it and you are to defend it. Once the Republic have been driven off, you must board their ship and arm the Self-Destruct. We have also recieved word that there are some Imperials held captive on that ship, so free them. Once these two objectives have been completed, escape the ship. The destruction of their ship is very important, as we have assessed to be capable of several more assults before it runs out of supplies..."

That´s it! Defend the Empire if you´re Reborn enough!

A new version of JEEL´s SpecOps modification for Soldier of Fortune II is out:

-New weapon: M4SD + scope ( killer gun !)
-External view of M4SD + scope , anim, sound are now correct , good usage !
-Adjust the sound of MSG90A1SD with real 7.62mm suppressed weapon.
-Adjust some param in weapons file.
-New vision mode : you can have a third person view in game, for better visibility (key ALT). By default you are placed just behind the player , if you want turn around, type in the console exec 3D
and use keypad 4 and 6 to rotate, keypad 5 to reset the view.
Try playing swapping different views , first, third, scoped view ... Have fun !

DemoLander, a new demo player for SoF II.9:53 by Col.J.P.

d31 has been working on a program which enables gamers to view demo's without having to load SOF2 and type in commands from the console to play the demos. The program allows you to load in your demos and then you just click the button and it starts up SOF2 and begins playing the demos.

This program is only in the early stages of development, however it seems to be working very well with most people and it comes with a various amount of functions built into the program. DemoLander allows you to que demos, run parameters along side the demo, access demos alot quicker. It also comes with built in binds, which can be used during the viewing of the demo, functions such as slow motion, fast forward, next demo, third person etc.

DemoLander may not work with some SOF2 mods at the moment, but later version of the program may allow for demos to be played from different mods.
To get the program working you must first run it and select your SOF2 directory. The demos MUST be located in the BASE/MP folder for it to work or you may get an error.

Please be aware that this is an early version and some features that are in the program may not be currently activated at the moment, there may also be some bugs...If you find a bug can you please let d31 know so that they can be fixed. You can either leave a message for him on the message boards or send him an e-mail.

On a work-related note, Raven is looking to hire a 2D/3D Texture and World Model Artist Position for Quake 4:

Raven is looking for a 2-D/3-D artist to concept, build, and paint complex textures and world models for Quake 4.
We prefer an artist with experience working in the PC gaming industry, with an understanding of creating textures and world models, but with very strong drawing, concepting, and painting skills. A more realistic artistic style is preferred.
An ability to create game art for different genres - such as Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror - is a definite plus, but a strong background in drawing and painting sci-fi is a must for Quake 4.
The position will also require an understanding of 3-D hi-poly and low-poly model building in Lightwave or Maya.

We will require a resume and samples of your texture and world models on disc or on a viewable online site. Examples of your modeling prowess is needed, too. Send all resumes and samples to Kevin Long or mail them to:

<|FeaR|> Clan HQ training map for JK II3:24 by Col.J.P.

This is a training HQ for the Fear clan. This map is huge! It has a two story hangar, a landing pad with the Millenium Falcon, another outside area with the Raven's claw. It has about 6-10 duel arenas, and a kick booty lounge.

I spent a lot of time exploring this map and it is awesome. The design is excellent, the traditional first-timer z-fighting, but the complexity and creativity of the map totally overwrites that. The council and lounge were my personal favorites. This map is the shiznit

One last tip... If you use any game models or texture you DO NOT have to include them, that woulda cut the file size down by almost a half!

Hammered Mod for SoF II3:20 by Col.J.P.

The concept of this mod is not realism; it is purely a gameplay tweak. By altering damage, recoil, accuracy, ammunition loads and some other behaviours, this tweak is intended to require a bit more forethought on the part of the player in most combat situations. Some weapons were slightly imbalanced in the stock SoF2 in a way that negatively affected play on close-quarters (USAS-12) or wide-open (sniper) maps. I've tried to address that both with the weapons themselves and with logical counter-strategies. It is worth noting that the difference between ranges above 4000 is pretty much academic on most maps - except RMG.

Jedi Archives Second Edition3:11 by Col.J.P.

Jedi Archives II is Sevker's latest map creation. The map has several rooms. Three "council" rooms, one very large library and another room that not sure what to call, but there is definitely plenty of room for FFA's galore!





The lighting in certain areas of the map are just perfect, and add ambiance to a map that could've been boring. I really liked the architecture in the archives room and the colors and textures all throughout the map were great!

New ManDown released2:58 by Col.J.P.

The new menus are roughly based on the layout of the RTCW menus. The new menus make a lot of things easier to find and add in a lot of options that were missing in the original. Added in the female serverside hit model to fix up some nasty issues when using female models and leaning. While the female hit model is different to the male one, it is close enough that there is no need to adjust damage based on gender. Still, the option exists to do so for anyone who feels differently.

Medievil, a dark JK II map3:06 by Col.J.P.

This is a dark, mysterious map by SiriusBlack. It contains some large rooms, perfect for dueling, sniper fights, and gun fights. It also promotes the usage of force powers to find hiding snipers, and sith trying to ambush you.
This map is perfect for any Free For All session, with its just perfect amount of light and shadow, and the large rooms. A great improvement would be support for TFFA and bots, but it would still be a must in any server rotation.

Wally West is the fastest man alive. Splattered with lightning charged chemicals as a pre-teen, he gained super-speed and became the sidekick to the second Flash, eventually succeeding him. He used to be able to vibrate through solid objects, but now doing so causes them to explode. Wally is the only speedster who can travel through time precisely without using external calibration.

When Guy Gardner, the alternate choice for Green Lantern of Space Sector 2814, was injured, Hal Jordan was ordered by the Guardians to train a replacement should Jordan ever be injured as well. The Guardians chose John Stewart. Out of work, Stewart was not worried about finding the time to train as a Green Lantern, so he accepted the offer. Given a power ring and the uniform of the Corps, Stewart discarded the mask, claiming he had nothing to hide.

Thor is the son of Odin, lord of the gods of Asgard, and Gaea, the eldest goddess of the Earth. Odin wanted a child of Asgard and Earth, which is why he mated with Gaea, the Earth Mother. Gaea gave birt to Thor in a small cave in Norway. A few months later, Odin took the baby to Asgard to be raised by his wife, the Asgardian goddess Frigga. Thor did not learn that Gaea was his mother until many centuries later. Thors Primary weappon is Mjolinr.

Amazing, large, well designed map, with a few textures missing here and there, but nothing that takes away from the playability/quality of the map itself.
Based on the utterly horrific map that was FIA saber training, with added dueling rooms and for the gunner in all of us, a nice battle field mock up to blast the night away in. Try to find the rockets. A good trap and also secrets all over the place!

Yavin RPG Final4:17 by Col.J.P.

A City in Yavin with many buildings used for Role Playing...The final version of Worr Sonn´s Yavin RPG for Jedi Outcast, with new textures, new sounds, new bot routes and new effects!





It features:

-Worr's Weapons - Small Weapons Hutt selling the legal weapons for the city
-Renegade's Jedi Training - Dojo for training the many jedi of the town, slow-mo mode (not really, probably just low fps)
-Jose's Cantina - My personal favorite... Bar with the tapper effect, and some cool stuff
-Bounty Gear - Gear for all the bounty hunters (originally 3 bounty models but was moved down to 1 for FrameRate)
-Jedi Emporium - Sabers, and Force Enlightments for the many jedi
-The Big House - Police station and holding cells for the lamers.
-Sloda's Pagoda - Hibatchi for the rich people. Uses my tapper effect as well, not as cool as Jose's
-Bounty HQ - Head Quarters and Sleeping grounds for the bounty hunters of the town

It has a strange "granitic" stone look, a big "aztec like" pyramid, surrounded by a city. Lots of stone multicolored houses around. It definitely has an ancient feeling!

CTF Volcano Base DX for Elite Force4:35 by Col.J.P.

This map has a pretty simple layout; each base has two levels, the flag is on the lower level; there are two sniping platforms on either side; there are two walkways leading to the centre from each base; sniping areas on the top level; and various pickups and weapons lying around:





The map is a bit to the small side, and even though the layout is simple, what really stood out to me was the very nice detail put inside the bases. Along the walls are pipes and other fixtures that really take the map up one more level.
The map overall reflects a Geothermal atmosphere, bad thing or good thing is up to you, but the little details are what made it different.

Metallica Duel Music4:19 by Col.J.P.

Changes the Intro and Duel music for multiplayer into Metallica for whom the bell tolls, the author edited the song taking out the intro so you duel to the song not the intro.
This music will make you want 2 rush and kill but as a Skilled Jedi!

"So you want to listen to a different song then Metallica, this is how you change the song: Open the pk3 "winzip, pakscape, ect.", import your song to the duel.mp3 location, Delete duel.mp3 and name your'song duel.mp3. Then just save and you´re done! Some songs may not work if so make sure the Audio Attributes: are 44,100 Hz, 16-bit, Stereo. Try not to use a edited song or edit it unless you know what you are doing. If still it doesn't work try a different song!"

It is a really complex and interesting design. To describe this map in one word. HUUUUGEEEEEE. This map is a beast, one of the largest out there. I like the way it is, it's a bit dark and the size really could be tuned down for the sake of FPS. I didn't see any Z-Fighting at all so good job. Other than that you need to Clip the models. Excellent job for a first time mapper. The final should turn out great. Lasty...... OZZY MUSIC!!!!!

But his jedi mind and control on the force help him escape but he could not bring a important object with him:His lightsaber.Hoping to find end free other prisoners and to retreive his lightsaber,he returned. To acheive that goal and to enter the base, he borowed a imperial shutle and used his mind power to get the code needed and landed in the primary dock."
That's where the mission starts! Good luck! A good Single Player level for Jedi Outcast, including 4 objectives and casual combat scene and some of the movie locations!

"I got a personal mod on hold called DJ's World, with turntables, subwoofers, guns, nikes, etc. I love Counter-Strike, and the EF CSMOD, but they lost the code for it so that sux. I'd like to give it a try again. A new CS Mod with my guns and actual CS Player skins. Try to have the same guns that CS has and stuff too, and of course change the fire effects.

See, my corrent idea right now is to make a line of present day weaponry for players that want to try new weapons and pickups. The idea is for the player to be able to customize his arsenal of personal favorites to play with and switch between weapons whenever he wishes."

This is the final version of the CS Estate remake for SoF II by Kardin.
Fixes since beta(or bug fixes):
-SKY FIX, if your video card doesn¡¦t reload a nothing area as I call it(almost all of them).
-Added black area around the map so it will draw something if nothing is there
(I¡¦d add a sky but then I¡¦d have to apply fog, my fully black sky remains as was planed)
-music file location fix(I had it set to /base/ not /base/music/ (I had it extracted for reasons)
-a lot of texture alignments :D(last time I didn¡¦t do any, this time over 50, 1 to 2 still remain)
-brush alignment(also fixed problems I didn¡¦t attend to before, about 30 to 40)

Just in from the Korax' Heritage team:

"We just opened a small online merchandise shop where you can buy T-shirts, mousepads, caffee mugs and similar items with the Korax' Heritage logo. All printing, shipping and cash collecting is done by CafePress, we don't get anything from what you pay for the products. We set it up only so you can run around in a Korax' Heritage T-shirt on the streets. :) Basically, a lot more things can be printed on at this company, so if you have an idea, please post a request into this topic on our forums."

Ra's Ring Transporter Mod for Elite Force3:49 by Col.J.P.

Nice change to the Transporter and worth a look if your into Stargate, there are others around like the ones from SGMod. But effort has gone into it and it does the job, think this is the first transporter effect based on The Stargate Movie so well done!

JEEL SpecOps 1.4 for SoF II3:17 by Col.J.P.

JEEL just sent a message about his last version of the SpecOps mod for Soldier of Fortune II multiplayer:

Some v.1.4 modifications:
-New weapon : MSG90A1SD ( silenced sniper rifle) (new model in progress).
-Night Vision , I change the hud display , reduce the size, like real model, and add markers to adjust your night shoot.
Sniper scope ,change for a "Red Dot scope" like on modern guns.
-M4 use scope in secondary attack, M203 can be in secondary weapon, ammo pack of 6 HE grenades.
-For a full usage of M4M203 , choose M4 in primary, and M203 in secondary ( like for OICW).
-MSG90A1SD is secondary weapon , it is less powerfull then MSG90A1 ( without silencer).
-USAS12 is now secondary weapon ( not a good weapon, just good for short range combat).
-Modify accuracy, If you try to shoot while jumping, bad luck for you !! ( like in real life ...)!
-Bots with actual weapons parameters are good challengers in elimination rounds.
-Type exec bluebot.cfg or exec redbot.cfg , to play against 3 bots.

Yavin RPG - BETA4:25 by Col.J.P.

A new map from Master Worr Sonn still in beta stage: You'll find it pretty much complete, but it still needs some FPS work. Definitely huge and complex!

It features:

-Worr's Weapons - Small Weapons Hutt selling the legal weapons for the city
-Renegade's Jedi Training - Dojo for training the many jedi of the town, slow-mo mode (not really, probably just low fps)
-Jose's Cantina - My personal favorite... Bar with the tapper effect, and some cool stuff
-Bounty Gear - Gear for all the bounty hunters (originally 3 bounty models but was moved down to 1 for FrameRate)
-Jedi Emporium - Sabers, and Force Enlightments for the many jedi
-The Big House - Police station and holding cells for the lamers.
-Sloda's Pagoda - Hibatchi for the rich people. Uses my tapper effect as well, not as cool as Jose's
-Bounty HQ - Head Quarters and Sleeping grounds for the bounty hunters of the town
-Capital and Job Office - The signless building in the middle of the map.
-Moonlight Nightclub - Nightclub to get wasted then go fight on the deck!

CTF Deralict 3 for Elite Force4:18 by Col.J.P.

After the fatefull demise of both the USS Nukem and the USS Nukem A to the borg, Captain James Nukem has built his 3rd ship, and broke with the USS Nukem name and called it the USS Nukalonia.
Firstly the USS Nukem, launched stardate 14th Feb 2002 was attacked and assimilated by the borg, during that time most of the crew were assimilated. James Nukem and a few of his senior officers managed to escape and self destruct the ship before the borg could fix its engines.
So it was to be that the USS Nukem - A was built.
The borg were pritty anoyed at James Nukem for foiling their attemps to use his first ship to assimilate the federation so after learning of this ship they dispatched a sphear to assimilate James Nukem and his crew.
This time the crew managed to repell the invading borg.. but not before the core was damaged, and the ejection mechanisim along with it, so the ship was evacuated again...and went boom.

Now after Voyagers return to the alpha quadrant amd the borg being particualy crippled James Nukem has built a 3rd ship that the borg aint gona touch this time.

The USS Nukalonia, a off shoot of a streamrunner class and slightly smaller has been born. With a complement of quantum torpedos, a reliable core ejection system and the latest borg defending technologies James Nukem is ready to come get the rest of them hostile alien****ards.

ReverendTed's XS Sound Compilation (1.4) for SoF II4:08 by Col.J.P.

A compilation of the best weapon sounds for a number of the weapons in SoF II. Many have been edited, remixed, or altered from their original states.
New sounds for the M1911A1, Socom, Silver Talon, M590, Micro-zi.M3A1, AK, M4, Sig551, USAS-12, MSG-90, and M60.

New in version1.4:
-Sounds for the grenade bounce
-M4 grenade load and launch
-Volume reduced on many sounds to reduce strain on headphoned players.
-The dehiss utility has been used to remove white noise.

DJ's Handgun "Teasers" Release for Elite Force4:46 by Col.J.P.

Nice to finally get a couple of new weapons, its a shame you cant view them all at the same time (You must load the .pk3 one at a time).
Sideways guns look very cool and do make a change to the normal.
Worth a look if your into hand guns, just a shame no new firing effects were included but then again this is only a 'teaser'.

Goldrush (Public Beta 1) released4:42 by Col.J.P.

Here it is, the first public beta of Goldrush. Goldrush is a multiplayer mods for Soldier of Fortune II which mixes the best parts of SoF and SoF II together with some old and new ideas! Goldrush focuses on gameplay... realism is cool but less important.
The mod comes with 10 maps, 8 gametypes and a lot of goodies...
You can play the mod SoF II style (99%) or totally different with strafejumps, higher speeds, instagib, etc.. Even you only want to play the standard gametypes Goldrush will add a lots of cool things to it.

Gametypes:
- Classic CTF is the oldskool style of Capture the Flag. It works with pickups, flagrecovery and you only can make a capture when you own flag is on its spot. Like in SOF1 the flagcarrier will make it buzzy sound which allow the other team (or your own team) to track the player to frag/support him/her...
- Capture and Hold is DM with a flag. This gametypes comes in a FFA and a Team version. Like in CCTF the flagcarrier makes a buzzy sound that helps to locate him/her (and prevents unnecessary camping).
- The Goldrush gametype is a mix of INF and CTF. It's a kind of 1 flag CTF. There is one flag in the center of the map of which both teams try to grab and capture it.
- Sabotage is a gametype where each team tries to blow up the enemy base
- Last Man Standing is the FFA variant of Elimination. When only two players are left they start coughing which helps to locate the other player (which hopefully is less boring for the ghosts/spectators).
- Capture the Bunker is DM gametype that comes in both a FFA- and a teamvariant. In CTB/TCTB the goal is to get possesion of "the bunker". When successfull you or your team will score extra points. Problem is that everyone is trying to do the same!

Goldrush comes with 10 maps: 5 original ones and 5 conversions (4x SOF1 and 1x CS). Go get it at SoF II Files.

Anyone who has been here for some time will know GODh. He is currently working very hard on GoldRush and I can say from testing it my self that this is set to be a very good mod. GODh has been part of FilesNetwork for a very long time now and has made 933 Files posts and 236 News posts. That’s more than any other staffer on the FilesNetwork team.

He has spent hundreds of hours of his own time here on FilesNetwork and working on GoldRush so I think you will agree with me that he has to be one of the most active and supportive members of the SOF and SOF2 community and someone that will change the way SOF2 is played.

Reborn Jedi Duel Arena4:32 by Col.J.P.

This is a really good first map. You begin in a yavin-themed courtyard which is really cool, and you go inside and continue moving downyard into a bunch of different arenas. The framerate is great as well, so gameplay is excellent!

Urban Arena Map for SoF II4:29 by Col.J.P.

The Urban Arena map was created to suit the tastes and playing styles of the team. There are no large pickups in the map, (MM1 etc)
