NECRODOME

Objective 1: Destroy Opponents in ice room. This is it. This is the final arena. The first few objectives are easy and simple, except for the last. Anyway, his level is the culmination of several of the environments you have encountered. Each room must be completed so that you can ultimately fight the Annihilator. Your first objective is to go into the ice room directly to the west of you when you start and defeat all of the opponents in there. You see the door but don't know how to open it? To the left of the door there is a verticle strip of ice, shot it. Enter the ice room, and dispatch all the enemies in it. Use your radar in the area to find them all. Once you have killed all the opponents in here, the pillars in the middle will lower revealing some items and completing your first objective.

Objective 2: Lower pillars in sludge room. Exit the ice room and head across the start point to find a door on the eastside. Destroy the nearby turret to and shoot the door it self to open it. From this door head to the south and you will end up in a small lake of sludge with a door. To open the door, shoot the waterfall of sledge to the right of the door. Go into the room and shoot the pillars to get them to fall. You can go in here and collect some important items. Head back out to the north.

Objective 3: Lower pillars in earth room. Once you are out of the sludge, go east into the earth room. Go to the south east point corner in the room, you'll find a switch, hit it to get the next set of pillars to fall. Depending on your health at this, point you may want to heal if you have any repair kits. From this point start to head north.

Objective 4: Activate switch to lower pillars in lava room. In the north of the earth room you'll find a large red door. To the left of that is a strip of lava. Shoot it to get the lava room door to open. It is important not to take to long in this part of the mission; you're going to have to out into the lava. From the entrance go up to the north west, you should be able to follow along some little island and you'll come to an end in the island and they won't go out and further. To the west there should be an outshoot of lava if you look at the map. Use you turbo boost to go out onto the lava and into the area. At the end you'll find a switch and along the way you get some really useful items. Once you hit the switch just do a reverse boost out of the area and get back onto land so that you can heal.

Objective 5: Destroy the Annihilator. Go out of the lava room and back into the earth room. I suggest that you scour around for more items you can use during the final battle. Head to the west to find the door back to the start chamber. In the north of the start chamber there is a door with three lions on each side, this is it. Don't go in there until you are sure you have everything you can use. When you are ready go ahead.

This is arguably the hardest encounter of the whole game. Ready a homing-missile turret and your rocket launchers as your main weapon. If you haven't been using them a lot, arm your Nukes as the items you can use with the spacebar. When the fight begins unload everything, all your missiles and nukes on him. You can tell how much damage he has taken like other vehicles, by smoke and fire coming from the back end.

If you run out of ammo use your chain and heavy turrets while you scavenge this fighting areas, there is a generous amount of ammo, shields and repair kits. Go back at him with all of your firepower again, if your are out of nukes (I bet you are), try this trick with the napalm. Boost past him so that he is behind you as you release, that is one way to make it more effective. Keep the firepower on him until he gives up. Remember to periodically heal yourself so that you don't go before he does. Enjoy the ending!
