Game Info
Shadow of the Serpent Riders was a re-release
of the original Heretic, with 2 all-new episodes and 2 new secret
levels (total 20 new maps). It was a good chance to get the original
hit for those who've played the Heretic shareware in 1995/96 but
couldn't find the game in the shops any more. And for those who
already owned the game, this 20-level upgrade came free for download.
While there aren't new graphics or monsters, some of the maps
are pretty good. All in all, the gaming value of this mission
pack approaches that of Deathkings,
at a much better cost point.
