Music

Black Crypt's music kind of "influenced" the music of most later Raven games. As Raven composer Kevin Schilder put it:

"It's sort of a weird quirk of mine that just happened to start. There is this 4 note motive in the beginning of the Black Crypt theme. It is stuck in my head as well as Brian Raffel's. We would bring it up at different times. For some reason, I started making a point of including that same motive in at least one of the pieces I did for most of our games."

You can listen to this historical composition yourself. Raven Software released 2 of the music pieces from the original Amiga version in MOD format (it can be played just fine with WinAmp).
