Raven Software is an over 11 years old company based in Madison, Wisconsin. Founded by 2 brothers who created their first game, Black Crypt, in a basement with the help of some friends, the company currently employs over 50 people and resides in a large office complex.

Raven always concentrated more on artwork than the average game creator team. The result of this are some of the most visually stunning games of their times, like Heretic, Heretic II and Elite Force.
